On Friday, March 9th, we hosted our annual Kids-N-Clay Art Show along with the PTSA Family Reading Night which had a great turn out. Thank you for all who came, your support is really appreciated. Students worked for several weeks on their ceramics projects and display spaces for this opportunity to share with family and friends. Here is a list of what was created this year for the show:
Young Fives - Evergreen Trees and Volcanoes (Natural History Museum coming soon)
Kindergarten - Ceramic Self Portraits or Selfies with a crayon resist and ink wash
1st Grade - African Animal Pinch Pots
2nd Grade - Coil Pots
3rd Grade - Dogs, Cats, and a Couple of Fish
4th Grade - Bobble Heads from the 1990s
5th Grade - Ceramic Pottery - Artist's Choice: Pinch Pot, Slab Pot, or Coil Pot
The results speak for themselves. Check out the awesome artwork that can be seen in the Library until next week. Then it will be wrapped and sent home.
